INDUSTRY OWNED FOODSERVICE AUSTRALIA TRADE EVENT COMES TO MELBOURNE IN 2011

The Foodservice Suppliers Association of Australia have recently announced that their FoodService Australia 2011 event will be held at The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 19th – 21st June next year.

The FoodService Australia event has built, over forty years, an enviable reputation as the industry event where Australia’s leading food and equipment companies come face to face with their clients for three days targeted business opportunities.

With over 4,000 industry professionals expected to descend on the Southbank complex this will be Melbourne’s largest gathering of the industry in 2011. It will provide opportunities for the industry to share their passion and dedication with their peers while gaining knowledge through educational panel discussions, sourcing new produce, products and equipment.

Key features of the event are two competitions The FSAA 2011 CHEF of the Year and The William Angliss FSAA 2011 APRENTICE CHEF of the Year. Both competitions are presented by Australian equipment manufacturer, Luus Industries. Some of Australia’s leading chefs will battle it out using Luus cooking equipment for the prestigious award and prize money.
